Québec City, March 16, 2018 - Today, the members of the Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE), a component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, will sign their new collective agreement with the Port de Québec.
For the second consecutive year, the PSAC-Quebec Women’s Committee will be presenting the Exceptional Women Award. It was unanimously agreed by the regional coordinators that from now on, the competition is to be called the Magali Picard Award. It will be presented on March 8, International Women’s Day.
We realized in no time that this wonderful woman and outstanding communicator inspired us, shared our feminist principles, cherished the values of social justice and inclusion and made a difference in our workplaces through her representation of us all.
Quebec, February 28, 2018 – At 6:30 this morning, members of the Union of National Defence Employees (UNDE), a component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, Quebec Region (PSAC-Quebec), began distributing information leaflets at the entrance to the Valcartier military base. This action, which disrupted the arrival of federal employees at their place of work this morning, marks the second anniversary of the Phoenix pay system.
